Pediatric Mentoring & Training – Introductory Level

Training Description

This introductory-level training is designed for parents, caregivers, and early-career professionals to develop a foundational understanding of pediatric therapy services. It offers a broad overview of key developmental areas, early signs, and supportive strategies without diving into clinical protocols or hands-on interventions.

Objectives

  • To build awareness about pediatric developmental milestones.
  • To introduce common neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Autism, Down syndrome, CP).
  • To orient participants with therapy domains: Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology
    (SLP), Behavioral Therapy (BT), and Physical Therapy (PT).
  • To provide basic tools to observe and support children’s developmental needs.
